Sensory Sojourns

Relax & Take it Slow. Find Beauty in the Moment at Local Scenic Farms!

Explore beautiful surroundings; engage your senses; participate in hands-on activities that relax, renew and heal.

About Sensory Sojourns
Sojourns are two-hour five-sense experiences that include:
• an exclusive sensory tour of a scenic farm
• a seasonal local food sampling
• a hands-on activity with a take away item
Sensory Sojourns capture the distinctive sights, sounds, flavors and aromas of the season and setting. Our goal is to provide guests with a 'take it slow, find beauty in the moment' experience that's in keeping with our mission.

Sojourn for a Cause! Proceeds from Sensory Sojourns help to support Gardening for Good's therapeutic garden programs that benefit children and adults we serve.

SAVE A FARM. VISIT A FARM
Gardening for Good's mission it to connect people to plants and nature to enhance well-being. And Sensory Sojourns connect people to the farms to enhance their well-being! We are pleased to feature sites that are members of New England FarmWays, a program of the RI Center for Agricultural Promotion and Education. We also want to showcase the beauty of local farms and support the dedicated farm owners.

We not only explore the sense of taste with seasonal local food samplings, but also focus on the scenic sense of place that is critical to our quality of life. Sensory Sojourns engage all senses at each picturesque location. When you go on a Sensory Sojourn you not only help to support the programs of Gardening for Good, but also to sustain local farms for generations to come.
